Our Lavender Field and Mountain

In Kilmacanogue, where we are based, we grow lavender and some other scented plants which we use to make some of our ingredients. The beauty of these natural products also inspires us to create new products. In early July we celebrate the arrival of the lavender flowers with a Lavender Harvest Party.

Our Lavender Fields  Our Lavender Fields

Some years ago we purchased about 140 beautiful acres at the top of the Little Sugarloaf Mountain above our Lavender Field which we aim to preserve in its natural state. Recently we have worked with our local authority to build a guided walking route to the top of the Mountain, so that hillwalkers can enjoy it with minimal environmental impact.

Garden of Ireland

2005 saw the launch of the our "Garden of Ireland" range of premium soaps and bath products. Inspired by the countryside and personal recollections of Wicklow, known as the "Garden of Ireland", the range uses lavender oil from the our lavender field in Kilmacanogue. Every summer in July the lavender is harvested and marked by our Lavender Harvest Party, a festival celebrating the amazing gift from nature of the golden oil from lavender and other plants, the roots of perfumery.
