The Inspiration

Inis Arose is inspired by Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, famously depicted in Botticelli's painting "The Birth of Venus". As she arose from the sea a shower of roses came down from the heavens as a gift from the gods to mark the re-birth of love, beauty and fertility: and when she stepped onto the island of Cyprus, green grass and spring flowers magically grew up around her.

The Inis Arose bottle has a green hue representing re-birth, new buds of spring and the warm embrace of love; the cap represents droplets of water, the source of life.

Inis Arose makes you glad to be alive, delighted to take great breaths of perfumed air and rejoice in re-birth. It dances on the tiniest and most delicate of feet and wafts to the skies, connecting heaven and earth, giving new life and heart to all who wear it.

Top, or 'Head', Notes - what you smell straight away:
Sunny Sicilian Lemons and Bergamot, palest pink Geraniums, Cyclamen and Muguet (Lily of the Valley)

Middle, or 'Heart', Notes - what you smell as the perfume settles on your skin and develops:
Pink May Rose from Grasse, White Rose , White Damask Rose Absolute and traces of Turkish Rose Attar.

Bottom, or 'Soul', Notes - which anchor the perfume, providing depth and tenacity:
Penang Patchouli, finest Mysore Sandalwood, Vanilla from Madagascar, Incense, Tonkin Musk and Atlas Cedarwood.
