Lavender Harvest Newsletter

For many, the month of July is the real start to the Summer – here at Fragrances of Ireland it is when the harvesting of our Lavender Field begins…. Once all the flowers have been harvested the still is set up and the distillation process begins… to be honest once the smell of our lavender starts to scent the air it can be quite hard to be motivated, we are all just too relaxed! We will be posting photographs of the harvest once it begins later this week.

Happy Easter from Fragrances of Ireland

The Summer is coming and as the days lengthen there is no denying it! (unless you live in the southern hemi-sphere, but as you probably get more sunshine in a month than we do here the whole year please allow us our moment of glee). The daffodils are popping up and there is a hint of warmth in the air – if you don’t have the potatoes planted at this point you had better get a move on!!
